Remembering Tim Davey

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Tim Davey, a 1974 graduate of Lock Haven University and the National Football League’s (NFL) Director of Football Operations, passed away in early January.

Davey, who was 58 worked for the New York Jets and the NFL for a total of 33 years.

In this honor, the NFL has donated $5,000 dollars to start a fund in Davey’s memory.

During his time at Lock Haven, Davey was a member of the Athletic Trainers Club and received the LHU Alumni Association Distinguished Service Award in 1997.

Davey began his career in the NFL with the Jets as an athletic trainer in 1974. He worked with the Jets from ’74 to ’88.
