Traffic Signal Patterns at Third Street/Warrensville Road Temporarily Altered

 Motorists who travel through the intersection of East Third Street and Warrensville Road in Loyalsock Township, just west of the green truss bridge over Loyalsock Creek are advised that the traffic signals are currently operating in recall mode.

Although the signals are operational, they may not always function in the most efficient manner possible for the time being. more»

County Residents Lose Power

Woman Sustains Injuries After Vehicle Plummets Down Embankment

On Wednesday, Jan 12, approximately 10:56 p.m., Joenette E. Renner, 35, of Williamsport, operating a 1997 Ford F250, was traveling on Becker Hill Road in Loyalsock Township. Renner’s truck traveled off the right side of the road and down an embankment, striking multiples trees before coming to a final rest. more»

Nora K. DeJohn, 70,a resident of Loyalsock Twp., died Monday January 10, 2011 peacefully at home.

She was born in Iowa, a daughter of Marion Schneider-Kelly and Paul R. Kelly.

Nora and her first husband, who died in 1992, are survived by two children, Kristin in MA and Marc in NM, and Kristin’s children Hally and Erin. more»
