The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the University of Wisconsin’s Population Health Institute released the third annual county-by-county analysis of public health, identifying the healthiest and least healthy counties in each state. The healthiest county in Pennsylvania was identified as Union County, according to the study.

The 2012 Evangelical Gala recently raised more than $90,000 in support of nursing scholarships provided by Evangelical Community Hospital. The formal dinner-dance, held on the campus of Bucknell University, included both silent and live auctions. Larison Hall was filled with party-goers who were “Supporting Tomorrow’s Nurses,” the theme for this year’s Gala.
