Penn College Physician Assistant Students Get Unique Learning Experience at Evangelical

Jaclyn DeLaretis of Hazleton and Oana Stingu from Binghamton, New York, practice using laparoscopic instruments in a simulation lab to move a gummy bear into a cup. The lab shows students the challenges of picking up and moving items using only a monitor for visualization. In the simulation one student uses a camera tool to help guide their fellow student in using other laparscopic tools.

In October 2012, Theresa Dawson, a 44-year-old wife, mother, and grandmother went into cardiac arrest at home.
