Route 42 Resurfacing Project South of Millville Starts Today

Montoursville - A PennDOT contractor is starting work today on a 6.8-mile long resurfacing project on Route 42 in Columbia County.

Eastern Industries, Inc. will be working from the Route 42 split near the Bloomsburg VFW (near Buckhorn) and Millville. more»

A bridge replacement project on School House Road in Hemlock Township, Columbia County is scheduled to start March 21.

On that same day, traffic at the Schoolhouse Road Bridge over Hemlock Creek, just west of Route 44 at Buckhorn, will be detoured.

The signed detour will direct traffic to use Frosty Valley Road, and Routes 42 and 44. more»
