The 2012 Carl E. Stotz Scholarship Luncheon was recently held at Little League International. The annual scholarship program, which was created in 1994, has exceeded the $116,000 mark for total monies presented to scholarship honorees. The 2012 recipients are, in the front row (left to right): Rachel Cummings (Jersey Shore High School); Maria Cioffi (South Williamsport High School); Lindsey Stopper (Loyalsock Township High School); Sophia Reeder (Muncy High School); and Jillian Jackson (South Williamsport High School). Each spring Little League Baseball and Softball rewards high school scholars in the area with the Carl E. Stotz Little League Baseball Scholarship.
