WILLIAMSPORT—In just a few weeks, lights will be glowing on the Susquehanna Health campuses of Divine Providence Hospital (DPH), Muncy Valley Hospital (MVH) and Williamsport Regional Medical Center (WRMC) thanks to the efforts of the hospitals’ auxiliaries. MUNCY-The 11th annual Irv Zablocky Memorial Run registered over 200 participants this year, a representative of the event said.
"This is the highest number of runners we've ever seen," said the sister of the late Irv Zablocky, who passed away 10 years ago. In his memory, the run was dedicated as a tribute to the runner, who was also known as "Z-Man" by his fellow runners. more»
MUNCY–The second annual running of the Susquehanna Health Challenge at Crystal Lake was even more challenging this year than last year with the addition of a second ski slope challenge. The 15.5-mile course traverses the cross country ski trails of Crystal Lake Camp, a 960-acre camp located outside Hughesville. This year's fastest runner, James Rayburn of York, 48, completed the course in 1:46. more»
