Montoursville - A PennDOT maintenance crew in Lycoming County is working on a project to reopen the intersection of Turnback Road with Route 2001 (Elimsport Road) in Brady Township this week. Friday 3 p.m. UPDATE: Elimsport Road will reopen to local traffic tonight. Officially, the road will reopen to through traffic tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon.

Thursday 8:30 a.m. UPDATE:  Work continues on Elimsport Road. The closure and detour are now expected to be lifted by tomorrow (Friday) afternoon by around 4 p.m. more»

Elimsport Road Closed West of Route 15 Due to Flooding

Montoursville - Route 2001 (Elimsport Road) in Brady Township, Lycoming County is closed once again due to flooding approximately two miles west of Route 15.

Traffic may detour via Routes 554, 44 and 15.

The road will remain closed until the floodwaters recede and the road is safe for travel.

Montoursville - Motorists in Lycoming County are advised that floodwaters have receded sufficiently to allow PennDOT to reopen State Route 2001 (Elimsport Road) in Brady Township, about two miles west of Route 15.

Theft From Vehicle – PSP Montoursville report a theft from a motor vehicle which occurred last month in Washington Township. Trooper Samuel J. Edwards said a 24-year-old male from Benton is suspected to have stolen a set of tire chains off the front of a road grader vehicle owned by PennDOT. more»
