Special Mentored Youth Opportunities Scheduled for Three Waters

The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) announced today that it will stock trout in three waters for a special mentored youth opportunity on Sunday, Oct. 18.

PFBC Reaches $2.5M Settlement over Dunkard Creek Fish Kill

The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) today confirmed that it has reached a $2.5 million settlement with Murray Energy for civil damages resulting from a devastating 2009 pollution incident in which discharges from a coal mine entered Dunkard Creek, contributing to a massive fish kill spanning nearly 30 miles of stream in West Virginia and Pennsylvania.

$1.7 Million PA Sire Stakes Championship Night Saturday 9/5/15

The richest Sire Stakes Championship series begins Saturday night, September 5th,  at The Downs at Mohegan Sun Pocono will host four $350,000 Pennsylvania Sire Stakes Championship for three-year-olds. Each of the four divisions will also have a $60,000 Consolation race; the total program on Saturday at Pocono will distribute purses of $1,770,000.
