Car rolls on roof in Eldred Township crash

A car driven by Amber Bower, 19, of Cogan Station, rolled onto its roof after the vehicle left Pleasant Valley Road in Eldred Township and struck a tree on June 8, according to state police. 

As the vehicle was rolling, it struck some trees and a utility pole. The vehicle came to rest with its roof and hood up against the trees and pole, facing north.  more»

Teen injured in crash lifeflighted to Geisinger Medical Center

A 17-year-old female was seriously injured in a May 10 crash. 

According to state police, the minor was traveling south on Cleman Hollow Road in Franklin Township on a Suzuki 230 Shaft motorcyle. The bike attempted to negotiate a right hand curve in the roadway and was traveling too fast, causing it to travel off the left side of the road and strike a tree.  more»

A crash occured at 2:30 a.m. May 18 as a vehicle driven by Michael Klacik III, 44, of Avis, was traveling south on Route 973 when the vehicle exited the roadway and traveled across a drainage ditch, according to state police. 

Klacik's vehicle stuck a tree and traveled another 25 feet before hitting an embankment. 

Klacik was uninjured.

Car spins out of control, strikes tree and other incidents

Todd Mack, 22, of Williamsport, was traveling west in his vehicle at 2:40 a.m. June 2 on Route 54 in Clinton Township when he lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a left curve in the roadway, state police reported. 

Mack's vehicle traveled off the north shoulder of the road and impacted a tree head on. The vehicle spun clockwise before coming to final rest.  more»
