Montoursville – Motorists in Lycoming County are advised that Route 87 is closed following a head-on crash just north of Montoursville at this hour.

Route 87 traffic is being detoured onto Radio Club Road and Quaker State Road.

The road is expected to be closed until around midnight.

A PennDOT maintenance crew is scheduled to make temporary repairs to State Route 1016 (Valley View Road) in Sheshequin and Wysox townships, Bradford County tomorrow.

Repairs are expected to begin in the early afternoon and be completed the same day.

Traffic will experience a lane restriction during the work.

Due to increasing roadway deterioration, PennDOT is asking that trucks avoid travel on SR 1016 (Valley View Road) in Sheshequin and Wysox townships, Bradford County for the time being.

With the increase in temperatures, pavement deterioration will worsen on this roadway if trucks continue to travel it. more»

Montoursville - Motorists who travel Route 15 southbound onto I-180 eastbound at Williamsport are advised that there will be a lane restriction on the Route 15 ramp Tuesday, Feb. 15.

One lane will be closed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Route 15 south ramp to I-180 east for cleanup of a diesel fuel spill that occurred when a truck overturned there earlier this month. more»

Montoursville - Route 287 is closed at this time between Shumway Hill Road in Delmar Township and Route 660 in Wellsboro, Tioga County, following a multi-vehicle crash.

Traffic Signal Pole Replacement near Wyalusing Feb. 14

On Monday, Feb. 14 starting at approximately 9 a.m., work will begin on the replacement of the traffic signal pole at the intersection of Route 6 and SR 2010 (Wyalusing-New Albany Road) near Wyalusing.

During the pole replacement traffic flow at the intersection will be controlled by flaggers.

SR 4014 Closed Between Routes 154 and 87 in Sullivan County; Crash Blocking Roadway

State Route 4014 (known locally as the spur) in Elkland and Forks townships, Sullivan County, is currently closed between Route 154 at Estella and Route 87 at Millview, following a crash between a bulldozer and a truck.

Traffic can get around the closure via Routes 154 and 87.

It is not known how long SR 4014 will remain closed.

PennDOT is lifting the speed limit restriction that was in place on I-180 and a section of Route 15 in the region.

Due to the winter storm that impacted the region, speed limits were reduced last evening to 45 mph on Interstates 80 and 180, and Route 15 from I-180 at Williamsport to the New York state line in north central PA.

A PennDOT maintenance crew in Snyder County is closing State Route 1007 (Globe Mills Road) about a mile north of Route 522 in Middle Creek Township until a large tree down across the roadway is removed.

The road closure is expected to last about one hour.
