Montoursville - Work continues on Route 15 at and near the interchange with Interstate 180 (Exit 29) and Route 220 near Lycoming Creek in Williamsport.

Traffic will be switched from the driving lane to the passing lane in the northbound direction on July 6. As the switch is made, three ramps will also be closed and the ramp traffic will be detoured. more»

Montoursville - Motorists in Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, are advised that State Route 3019 (Sholder Road) is closed today for an emergency drainage-pipe replacement.

The road will be closed between its intersections with Grimesville Road and Bottle Run Road.

Montoursville - Motorists in western Bradford County are advised that Route 6 remains closed at the truss bridge over Sugar Creek at East Troy.

The detour for larger trucks follows Routes 14, 414 and 220. Passenger vehicles may use the local detour on Route 14, SR 4014 (Springfield Road) and SR 4017 (Leona Road). more»

Montoursville - On July 11, a PennDOT maintenance crew in Montour County will begin work on the replacement of a bridge on State Route 2006 (Ridge Drive) in Cooper Township.

An approximately two-mile detour will go into effect, using River Drive and Mt. Zion Drive. more»

Montoursville - Motorists in Northumberland County are advised that a microsurfacing project is underway this week on about a five-mile section of Route 54 between Elysburg and Riverside.

Work is taking place daily from 7 a.m. to approximately 7 p.m. Work will continue Thursday through Saturday and is expected to wrap up next Monday. more»

Montoursville - The Towanda River Bridge is scheduled for a routine inspection this weekend.

Due to the high volume of traffic on Route 6 and the need to restrict the roadway to one lane of traffic with flaggers, PennDOT is scheduling the inspection for the morning of Saturday, June 25, when traffic volumes are typically lower compared to weekdays. more»

Montoursville - The contractor working on Route 15 at the Montgomery Pike near South Williamsport will be making a lane switch today for northbound traffic. more»

Montoursville - Work will start tomorrow, June 17, on an eight-bridge preservation contract in Montour and Union counties.

This is a membrane overlay project that includes six structures in Union County and two in Montour County.

Prime contractor, HRI, Inc. will begin in Montour County.

Montoursville - A microsurfacing project on sections of Routes 11 and 642 in Montour County is scheduled to start June 15.

Prime contractor Suit-Kote Corporation will start on Route 642 from the Route 45 intersection heading west to the Northumberland County line. Traffic flow will be directed by flaggers. more»

Montoursville - A microsurfacing project along a four-mile section of Route 15 in northern Lycoming County is scheduled to start this Thursday, June 16.

Prime contractor Suit-Kote Corporation will apply a thin layer of blacktop to the existing pavement along the four-lane highway from the Buttonwood Interchange to the Tioga County line. more»

Montoursville - Motorists in Sullivan County are advised that a section of Route 42 east of Route 220 is currently closed at the scene of a crash.  Route 42 is closed between Route 220 and Beaver Lake Road.

Car traffic is being detoured via Beaver Lake Road and Route 220. Truck traffic will be detoured via Routes 220 and 118. more»

Montoursville - A state-owned bridge on Wintersteen Road in Franklin Township, Lycoming County will be replaced under a project starting next week.

On Tuesday, June 14, a PennDOT bridge crew from Lycoming County will close the bridge over a branch of West Branch Run, just east of the intersection with Pine Summit Road. more»

Montoursville - A bridge replacement project on State Route 2012 (Mill Grove Road) in Roaring Creek Township, Columbia County is nearing completion, with the new bridge opened to traffic today.

The detour has been lifted.

Guiderail has yet to be installed, but the new bridge over Roaring Creek is in service.

Montoursville - Paving operations at the safety project under construction on Route 15 along the Montgomery Pike in Lycoming County will require a lane closure two days this week. more»

Montoursville - A power outage is scheduled affecting the Route 15 South Welcome Center in Tioga County Tuesday afternoon, June 7.

The restrooms at the center will be closed due to the unavailability of water during the planned outage from noon to 4:30 p.m.

The welcome center will be open otherwise.

Montoursville - Northridge Group, a hazardous materials clean-up contractor, will be working along Route 11 southbound Tuesday morning for a short time to clean up diesel fuel-contaminated soil at the site of Friday's crash south of Port Trevorton. more»

UPDATE: There is a delay in the schedule because of past storms that hampered the contractor's operations and damaged the work done by the contractor. The bridge is estimated to be opened to traffic on June 26 and the project completion date is now July 5. more»

Montoursville - PennDOT's Bradford County bridge maintenance crew will apply epoxy overlays on two bridge decks during the week of June 6 -10.

On Monday and Tuesday, the crew will be working on Marbaker Road, SR 1014, in Tuscarora Township, just off SR 367, preparing the deck and applying the material to the deck surface. more»

4:15 p.m. UPDATE: Routes 11/15 northbound are reopened to traffic. Routes 11/15 southbound are expected to be reopened to traffic just after 4:30 today.

1:50 p.m. UPDATE: Both northbound and southbound Routes 11/15 will be detoured around the crash scene via Routes 35 and 104.  The detour is expected to be lifted by late afternoon. more»

Montoursville - On Wednesday, June 15, a PennDOT maintenance crew in Snyder County will begin work on the replacement of a concrete slab bridge with a new precast box culvert over Spring Creek Run on State Route 2006 (Martin Brothers Road) in Washington Township. more»

Montoursville - On Tuesday, June 7 at 8 a.m. a PennDOT maintenance crew in Bradford County will close State Route 4007 (Mac Road) in Burlington Township for a large pipe replacement.

The road currently has a single-lane, self-regulated stop condition where April flooding caused damage.

The road will be closed between Codding Road and Kendall Hill Road. more»

Montoursville - Motorists traveling Route 6 westbound at the east side of Mansfield tomorrow are advised to be alert for a short detour while a PennDOT maintenance crew performs roadway base repairs.

Traffic will be restricted to a single lane in the vicinity of Mansfield University during daylight hours Friday, while PennDOT works in the westbound lane. more»
