House Advances Reform Agenda: Debt Reduction Bills Sent to Floor

HARRISBURG – In a move to relieve taxpayers from crushing debt built by years of fiscal irresponsibility driven by overspending on projects by past administrations, the House Finance Committee voted Monday to send House Bill 2419, a strategic debt reduction program, to the House floor for a vote later this week, House Majority Leader Mike Turzai (R-Allegheny) announced.
