HARRISBURG – Ten people died and 361 others were injured in 712 crashes investigated by the Pennsylvania State Police during the four-day Fourth of July holiday driving period, Commissioner Frank E. Pawlowski said today.

Seven of those killed were not wearing seat belts, Pawlowski said. He noted that 72 of the crashes were alcohol-related, including three of the fatal crashes. more»
