Burglary in Mill Creek Township – PSP Montoursville report a burglary which occurred around 2:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 3. Trooper Doebler said someone entered an unlocked service door on the north side residence belonging to Jeffrey Shaw who lives at 110 Lockard Road, Muncy. more»

New Charges Against Jailed Williamsport Man – Williamsport Police pressed additional charges and had bail set to a higher amount against Brian Williams, Jr. Williams was arrested and jailed for drug possession on Sept. 27. more»

Williamsport Man Dead, Shooter in Custody, Say Williamsport Police – The Williamsport Bureau of Police is currently investigating the shooting death of a 21-year-old male in the 10 block of West Fourth Street which occurred Sunday, Sept. 18. more»

PFA Violated in Woodward Township – PSP Montoursville arrested a Linden man after he violated a protection from abuse order earlier this month. John William Bird Sr., 57, of 120 Harvest Moon Park, grabbed a 54-year-old woman by the right arm and twisted it until injury. Trooper Erik J. Hit-and-Run Catches Fire, Lamar Police Report – PSP Lamar continue to investigate the circumstances of a vehicle after it struck a tree and traveled a distance before catching fire. Carbon County Man Missing, Say Lamar State Police - PSP Lamar are looking for a Carbon County man who was to pick a friend on Friday and hasn't been heard from since. Sgt. Tobias said Matthew Newhard, 22, left around 2 p.m. to pick a friend up in State College, but texted her a few hours later stating he would not be able to. more»

Mailbox Baseball in Franklin and Jordan Townships – PSP Montoursville say six mailboxes were reported damaged during the overnight hours of Aug. 14. Michigan Man Found Dead in Vehicle – PSP Lamar report the death of a motorist in Clinton County last week. Trooper Timothy Guenot said David J. Kriss, 51, of Howell Michigan, expired from natural causes while sleeping in his vehicle. Kriss’s vehicle was parked in the rest area parking lot near mile market 192 eastbound in Greene Township during the overnight hours of Aug. 14.

Hughesville Man Jailed for Lottery Ticket Theft – PSP Montoursville say a Hughesville man failed to post $15,000 following charges with retail theft and theft by deception last Friday. Trooper  Michael Shipman said Michael D. Koch Jr., 29, informed employees at Weis Markets, 1272 East Penn Street, Muncy Creek Township, that he had put $40 in a lottery machine without getting any tickets. more»

Mailbox Contents Stolen in Woodward Township – PSP Montoursville report a theft involving a mailbox last month. Trooper Troy Hendershot said a red ATV with blue and green painted tired pulled up to the mailbox belonging to Merrit Robinson, 73, of Yerger Road, Linden on July 23 around 1 p.m. the driver was wearing a fully enclosed white helmet; the passenger was a white female with black hair. more»

Motorcyclist Sustains Major Injuries – PSP Montoursville report a Montoursville man sustained major injuries following a motorcycle crash in Fairfield Township on July 30, shortly before 9 a.m. Trooper Jeffrey Vilello said Charles L. Stine, 47, was negotiating a left hand turn from Reuben Kehrer Road onto Cemetery Road when he lost control of the 2003 Harley-Davidson he was operating. more»

Six-vehicle crash in Clinton County – PSP Lamar report a six-vehicle crash with injuries sustained by several of the occupants on Thursday, July 28. Trooper Joseph M. Motorcyclist Struck by SUV on East Third Street – PSP Montoursville report that a Pennsdale motorcyclist sustained moderate injuries after he was struck from behind on July 15. Gary L. Drugs Found on Muncy Man – PSP Montoursville charged a Muncy man with possession following an incident on July 15 in Williamsport. Trooper Mitchell McMunn said Ryheem Mumin, 31, of Muncy, was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana while in the area of Campbell Street and Park Avenue, shortly after 1:30 a.m. Charges have been filed in district court, McMunn said. more»

Trooper Travis Pena said Charles Robinson, 21, was traveling at a high rate of speed on Route 220 south bound in the area of Quenshukeny Road around 1:15 a.m. this morning. more»

Cash Stolen From Texas Man – PSP Montoursville report a theft which occurred on July 2 in Loyalsock Township. Trooper Schrawder said Trent Johnston, 25, of Whitesboro, Texas had nearly $300 stolen from his hotel room while he was gone for the day. The theft occurred at Best Western, 1840 East Third Street, Schrawder said, and there are no suspects in this investigation. more»
