The Family Place Puts Out the Welcome Mat to their New Surroundings

Megan and Jim Adams of Middleburg hold newborn daughter, Emery Mae, who was born at Evangelical’s The Family Place on August 12, 2014. Emery joins older sisters Bailey and Lena. During their stay, the family enjoyed the comfort of a newly remodeled room that included a pull out lounge chair for Jim to sleep in the same room with his wife and a state-of-the-art nurse call system on a remote control that also allowed Megan to control the television and lights. She was also able to speak to the nurses through the remote to tell them if she needed something or to ask them questions about care for Emery.

After 20 months of labor, The Family Place at Evangelical Community Hospital has delivered a complete and fully renovated obstetric unit for mothers and their newborns! more»
