'The Wiz' at Muncy High School

Dorothy encounters the Tin Man in the musical "The Wiz" scheduled for 7:30 p.m., March 10-12 at Muncy High School.

A beloved tale that has been entertaining us for decades will finally be brought to life at Muncy High School on Thursday, March 10, Friday March 11, and Saturday, March 12, beginning at 7:30 p.m.

“The Wiz,” an adaptation of “The Wizard of Oz,” not only has all of the classic characters, such as Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tinman, the Cowardly Lion, and Glinda, but new characters as well, including Addepearl, Evelene, and the Kalidahs.

With a cast of about 30, “The Wiz” will trigger your imagination with crazy music and fun dance numbers that will knock you off your feet. Ticket prices are student, $5; adult, $7. For reservations, call (570) 974-9474.
