Williamsport July 4th Activities

WILLIAMSPORT — The City of Williamsport, along with Backyard Broadcasting, will host the annual "Set the Night to Music Fireworks Celebration" on Friday, July 4, beginning at 3 p.m. in downtown Williamsport.
The celebration will feature music, vendors and food. Fireworks will begin at 9:40 p.m. and will be choreographed to patriotic music airing on WILQ fm 105.1, WZXR fm 99.3, WCXR fm 103.7 and WBZD fm 93.3. Prior to that, the American Flag will be raised at 10 a.m. by PA Army National Guard, and the Young Marines.
The entertainment is as follows from 3 p.m. until 10:50 p.m.:

Free shuttle service will be available every 10 minutes from Williamsport City lots starting at 6 p.m. The following streets will be closed from Noon until 11 p.m.: William and Via Bella, William and West Third and Church and Pine. In addition, the Market Street Bridge will be closed to all traffic from 8:30 to 10:15 p.m.

Residents are advised no pets, rollerblades/skates, bicycles or skateboards are permitted within the event area.
