Tyson Finds a Home!
LOCK HAVEN -- Good news from the Clinton County SPCA -- Tyson, the bulldog with a limited expiration date, was adopted last night. The SPCA asks that the public keep its collective "fingers crossed that it all works out. Thanks for your help and
concern," they add.
Tyson had lived at the shelter for many months, and now has been adopted thanks in part to Guardian Angels, an effort that allows people who cannot provide a home for animals but still want to help donate any amount of money towards the animal of their choice. The donation can be earmarked specifically for an animal’s adoption fee, their shots, or their neutering.
Tyson, a 7-year-old, neutered, male boxer, had been at the facility since August. His adoption costs and shots were free, covered by donations from Guardian Angels. Tyson was the subject of a local Facebook campaign to try to find his a home as soon as possible.
If you are interested in becoming a Guardian Angel, more information is available from the Clinton County SPCA, 33 Mill Hill Road, Lock Haven, by calling (570)-748-4756, or e-mailing ccspca@cub.kcnet.org. A Guardian Angel sign with the contributor’s name is placed on the cage
or kennel of the animal being helped. With assistance of past guardian
angels, many of animals have found homes. On the Web at http://www.clintoncountyspca.org.
