Third Person Arrested in Williamsport Kidnapping Case
Third Person Arrested in Williamsport Kidnapping Case – Williamsport Bureau of Police arrested a third person in connection with a kidnapping that took place Oct. 18. Agent T. R. Peacock charged Donald H. Gentner III as the third person involved with kidnapping Daniel Harrold. (see http://northcentralpa.com/article/williamsport-mother-and-son-charged-ki...).
Gentner was identified along with Dylan Smeltzer-Guthrie by Dustin Hoffman, as two of the people involved in the incident. Hoffman was the man at a neighboring house who started yelling at the group of people who had caught Harrold and knows both Gentner and Smeltzer-Guthrie personally. Hoffman identified Genter as the driver of the white pick-up truck and stated that Gentner told him “they had a man in the truck of the white car and that “things got out of hand.”
Genter’s charges include kidnapping, criminal conspiracy, aggravated assault, terrorist threats, unlawful restraint, false imprisonment and simple assault. Genter, 20, whose last known address is 2377 Lone Walnut Club Road, Jersey Shore, was transferred to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $300,000 bail
