Susquehanna Health Now Offers Occupational Health Services in Muncy

February 9, 2012, MUNCY – Susquehanna Health recently announced Occupational Health Services are now available at the WorkCenter in Muncy Valley Hospital. The WorkCenter offers a wide range of services, including employment testing and cost-effective treatment of injured workers.

The WorkCenter will supply local employers with workers’ compensation injury management, pre-employment physicals and immunizations as well as substance abuse programs, medical surveillance testing (walk-ins welcome, appointments preferred), ancillary imaging and laboratory services, and physical therapy. Physician appointments are available Tuesday and Thursday, 8 am to 4:30 pm.

“Employers in Eastern Lycoming County can now meet all of their occupational health needs in this full-service location,” said Matt McLaughlin, Director of Occupational Health at Susquehanna Health.  “With a specially trained medical staff, the WorkCenter will help to facilitate industrial growth for businesses along the Route 405 corridor in Muncy.”
