Susquehanna Greenway Partnership Announces Photography Contest Winners
Susquehanna Greenway Partnership (SGP) held its first ever Photo Contest in 2010. There were two categories. Treasured Towns was meant to capture people enjoying what river towns have to offer: walking through a historic district, shopping downtown or at a farmers market, having a picnic or reading a book in park, riding a bike to school, attending a festival and more. Treasured Landscapes focused on the varied landscapes and ecological treasures of the Susquehanna River Corridor. Over 150 entries were received. Winning photos were chosen based on the composition, technical quality, and how the photo related to the Susquehanna Greenway mission.
