Second Annual 'Really Big Show' in Muncy

May 10, 2011

It is time once again for the annual charity talent show at Muncy High School. “The Really Big Show” is an annual fundraiser organized by the Muncy High School Diversity Club, a group of students dedicated to embracing differences and making a difference in the world.

“One-hundred percent of the show’s profits will be donated to the Son-Light House in Muncy,” teacher/organizer Karen Shaffer said.

Son-Light House is an organization dedicated to providing free meals, clothing, and support to our friends and neighbors in the area needing assistance.

The Really Big Show will be held on Thursday, May 19 at 7 p.m. in the Muncy High School Auditorium. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students and can be purchased in advance or at the door.

Additionally, anyone interested in supporting this year’s charity talent show can participate in the following ways:
•    Donate gift certificates (to be used as prizes) in exchange for advertising in the program (1/4 page for $25; 1/2 page for $50; whole page for $100);
•    Purchase advertising in the program 1/4 page for $25; 1/2 page for $50; whole page for $100);
•    Make a monetary donation

The Really Big Show is a wonderful charity event that not only raises money for good causes, but also showcases the dynamic talents of Muncy students.
