Sale of Sycamore Manor Health Center Announced

Montoursville, PA. (July 9, 2014) Presbyterian Senior Living (PSL) announced today the sale of Sycamore Manor Health Center to TL Management subject to approvals and tentatively scheduled for September 1, 2014.

"Sycamore Manor became part of the Presbyterian Homes network in 1972 and was part of a variety of acquisitions and construction projects that have helped PSL to evolve into a full continuum of health care, housing and related community services for older persons," stated Steve Proctor, President and CEO of PSL. "In more recent years, our organization has focused on the development of a full continuum of care on a single campus. The limitations of the property surrounding Sycamore Manor make it impossible to expand beyond skilled nursing care."

"TL Management ," Proctor continues, "was selected based on its reputation for person-centered care and are confident that the residents of Sycamore Manor will continue to receive a high quality of care under their ownership. We are, however, retaining ownership of Presbyterian Home at Williamsport, our personal care residence on Louisa Street in Williamsport and look forward to maintaining a strong working relationship with Sycamore Manor.
