Route 220 Resurfacing Project in Sullivan County Starts Next Week

Montoursville –A nearly $2 million resurfacing project on 4.6 miles of Route 220 in Sullivan County is set to start on Tuesday, July 8.
The work extends from just north of Champion Hill Road in Davidson Township to just north of Old Route 220 in Laporte Township.
The project includes placing rock slope protection for erosion control, making drainage improvements, resetting guiderail, performing base repairs and resurfacing with new blacktop.
Traffic will be maintained by daylight flagging operations.
The work is scheduled to be completed in mid-October.
