NorthcentralPa.com considers adding print version
NorthcentralPa.com Publisher, Kathy Kolb, today suggested that a printed version of the publication is being considered.
"We're concerned about the %5 of people we talk to that aren't online yet, although %99 of that %5 said they were getting online soon.", said Kolb.
NorthcentralPa.com has been an online only publication since it's launch in September, 2009. It includes vivid color images, original articles and an aggregation of area news feeds.
"We've already invested in a really big copying machine to do the printing. It has TWO paper drawers.", Kolb replied when asked about investment needed to launch a print version. "Our print version would be especially suited for people who want to revisit news stories they've already seen online."
"Some of our best friends have birds (and need papers to line their cages.)", Kolb added, saying there is real concern about where people will get liner paper in the future.
OK, it's April 1st and this is one of our comedy offerings. The truth is, we're working on a Kindle version.
Happy April!
Kathy Kolb
