'A Night of Spoken Word' to continue in 2013

January 7, 2013

Season two of Spoken Word keeps growing and will continue into 2013. Last month's event brought several published authors including E.M. Frear who read from her new book Black White Shades of Greyy.

We also had New York City artist Jeffrey Allen Price make the trek to Williamsport to do a series of booming and humorous poems and stories. Let's keep the momentum going at our next night of Spoken Word on Friday, January 11 from 7:00 - 9:00.

Spoken word has a simple setup: we turn on the mic and ask those interested in reading poetry, prose, free style verse, dramatic readings, stand up comedy and more keep it under 5 minutes.

The event is open to the public and those interested in participating on stage are asked to arrive at 6:30 p.m. so that a running order can be established.

All are welcome even if you just want to listen rather than participate. Coffee will be provided by Alabaster Coffee and will only be $1 per cup.

Come out and speak your talents!
