Muncy Valley Hospital Lawn Party Slated for June 18

The finish line at the annual Irv Zablocky run, held during the Lawn Party at Muncy Valley Hospital.

The public is invited to attend Muncy Valley Hospital’s 28th Annual Lawn Party scheduled Saturday, June 18 from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the grounds of the hospital.

Party activities begin with a hearty breakfast from 6:30 to-11 a.m.

Registration for the Irv Zablocky Memorial Run/Walk/Wheelchair opens at 7 a.m. and the race begins at 8:30 a.m. The 3.5 mile run/walk will be held at Myers Elementary School, 125 New Street, Muncy and ends on hospital grounds.  The race is being
held rain or shine in conjunction with the Lawn Party. Registration is
$15 if received by June 11 and $18 after that date. Trophies will be
awarded to the overall first place male and female runners and medals
will be presented to the top three finishers in various age groups.
Refreshments will be provided to participants after the race. An awards
ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. at the gazebo on the hospital grounds.

or by calling MVH Volunteer Services at 546-4128.

Musical entertainment, children’s activities, craft vendors and the Silent Art Auction begin at 9 a.m. and conclude with a raffle drawing at 4 p.m.

The MVH Lawn Party is a fundraising project of the MVH Auxiliary. Proceeds from the Lawn Party and Irv Zablocky Run/Walk benefit the renovations and expansions of Susquehanna Health’s Project 2012.
