Mayor Campana with the Christian Care Community on Drug Prevention will be holding a Press Conference in Mayor Campana’s office on Tuesday, May 27th  at 10:30 am. They will also be holding a candle light vigil on Friday, June 6th from 6 to 8 pm in front of City Hall.

Greetings in the name of Jesus:
We want to inform you of a Christian Care Community on Substance Abuse (CCCSA).
Our prayer is that every church will become involved. We are not a "task force", we are concerned Christians who wants to care for the abuser and their family.
At this time we have two events scheduled
May 27th at 10:30 AM - a Press Conference in the mayor's office
June the 6th at 6:00 PM - a candlelight vigil to be held in front of the City Hall
Our prayer is that you will become a part of this group of concerned Christians.

Our Mission Statement
To inform:
By the identification of the substance abuse problem and assist with solutions.
By identifying the types of assistance that is needed.
To pray:
Through collaboration with organized prayer teams of various types
By informing established prayer groups of prayer targets and needs
Through continued training and raising up new prayer initiatives
To support:
Through the development of strategies and tactics for providing needed assistance which includes the identification and design of successful programs that are measurable.
Through community initiatives consistent with its mission, goals and objectives
The CCCSA proposes to initiate the safety of the community, making it a viable mechanism through which individuals and groups can pursue strategies of personal, cultural and social empowerment.
To support the substance abuser and their families by referring them to appropriate services through the utilization of Christian love and fellowship
