Lycoming Sorority to ‘Share the Love’ with Benefit Ball

WILLIAMSPORT-The sisters of Alpha Rho Omega are holding a “Share the Love”  Benefit Ball on Saturday, Feb. 12, at 7 p.m. in Honors Hall at Lycoming College.  All proceeds go towards music and arts education programs for children at the Campbell Street Center in Williamsport.

The event will feature musical performances from Lycoming students, as well as a card making room to make Valentine’s Day cards for children at a local hospital. There will also be an art gallery with pieces for sale from art students at the college. Other activities include a silent auction and donation station.

The ball is formal attire with a masquerade theme.  Patrons can bring their own masks or purchase a pre-made one at the door.

Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for the general public. They can be purchased beginning Monday, Jan. 10, from any sister of Alpha Rho Omega.  Send any questions to Denyse Walters atwaldeny@lycoming.edu.
