Representatives from Evangelical Hospice gratefully received a piece of handmade art from a patient’s family. The family of Laura Ruckle, who was cared for by the Evangelical Hospice team, was a master quilter and donated this piece for the department’s office on Hospital Drive. She felt that the homes, from the small cottage to the large Victorian house, were representative of the homes and people that Hospice workers and volunteers visit.

On hand for the presentation were (l-r) Julie Lohr, granddaughter of Laura Ruckle; Christine Gessner, Hospice Social Worker; Terry Stahley, Hospice volunteer; Lori Shrawder, Hospice RN and Linda Catherman, daughter of Laura Ruckle.

Rhonda Wright, Hospice Aide and Rick Phillips, Hospice Chaplain were not available for the picture.
