Eleven Site Emergency-Repair Projects in Lycoming County Start Today

Montoursville - LTT Trucking, LLC is the contractor for a $210,105 flood-recovery project at 11 bridge sites in Lycoming County. Work starts tomorrow, with completion scheduled by Dec. 19.

The sites are as follows:

Bridge over Little Bear Creek on Route 87 in Plunketts Creek Township, removing flood deposition upstream and downstream of the structure as well as placing rock upstream and downstream on the banks;

Bridge over Big Bear Creek on Route 87 in Plunketts Creek Township, backfilling a scour hole and placing rock at one of the wing walls (embankment supports);

Bridge over Sugar Run on Route 118 in Wolf Township, backfilling a scour hole at the upstream wing wall;

Bridge over a tributary to Mill Creek on Route 864 in Mill Creek Township, removing deposition throughout the arch culvert;

Bridge over Lycoming Creek on Route 973 in Lycoming Township, removing debris caught in the superstructure (deck and beams);

Bridge over Muncy Creek on Route 2014 (John Brady Drive) in Muncy Creek Township, removing debris at the piers;

Bridge over Glade Run on Route 2014 (John Brady Drive) in Muncy Creek Township, removing debris at the pier;

Bridge over a tributary to Mill Creek on Route 2023 (Bloomingrove Road) in Hepburn Township, backfilling a scour hole at one of the wing walls;

Bridge over Roaring Run on Route 1003 (Wallis Run Road) in Gamble Township, removing deposition from inside the culvert;

Bridge over Loyalsock Creek on Route 1005 (Proctor Road) in Plunketts Creek Township, removing debris at one of the abutments and a pier;

Bridge over Wallis Run on Route 1006 (Wallis Run Road) in Cascade Township, placing concrete to underpin support at one of the wing walls.

Most of the work will take place off the roadways; nonetheless motorists are asked to stay alert for work zone activities and to slow down when passing by these bridge sites
